The entire procedure may take between 2-8 hours. If you like it you can turn your tour into a spa vacations. When Max took some of our staff members to an establishment he suggested, they made a reservation for two hours. Needless to say they spent there eight hours in whipping their body with birch branches, sweating, dipping in the ice cold swimming pool, drinking vodka, eating, playing pool, smoking cigars, etc. They liked it so much that they volunteered to go with Max on a village banya tour next day. It took about 2 hours of travel by car to get there. They slept over night in the village house where a lamb was butchered upon their arrival and cooked. The banya building was an old country style log cabin. According to the testimonials the impression was "as rich as jazz". If you are going to Russia you have to devote a least a day for this quintessential Russian experience or turn your visit into spa vacations.

Now we have a better offer! You can rent two newly built and furnished houses (2 BEDROOMS EACH) on the lake with banya and workout room. There is an extra apartment in support building. All of them have toilet, shower, TV. The place is located 100km from St Petersburg on Sudokholski Lake. One can rent each house for 95$ per night. The price includes banya and athletic equipment. Transportation is extra but can be arranged.  This small resort operates year around!

Besides banya one can either go hunting (extra license required) or fishing (license included).  There are   many kinds of fish in the lake including salmon.
