What are good Spa resorts and Spas in St Petersburg Russia ?

There are hundreds of spas - banyas establishments and spa resorts operating in St Petersburg Russia and hundreds of thousands across the country. Some of them you do not want to go to because they are simply dirty. Others operate as whorehouses with women on premises. A few spass cater to a "tough guys" crowd. Some specialize and provide herbal treatments, skin treatments, acupuncture, etc. Some operate like social clubs with a common area where one can watch a TV, talk, play cards or chess. Only a few banyas are what they must be: a nice steam rooms heated by logs, young birch brooms, a massage therapist on duty, tasty food and people you like. On the top of that, if you do not speak Russian language, you have to have someone to communicate for you.
